Who We Are
The (FHTOI) is an umbrella organisation that represents Haj Tour operators, who are registered with ministry of External Affairs Government of India. The aim and object of this Federation is to, assist and protect the interest of Haj PTOs and Haj/Umrah Pilgrims. Our Federation registered under sub-section (2) of section 7 of the Companies Act, 2013 and rule 8 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014.
HAJ PILGRIMAGE
The Haj is fifth basic pillar of Islam is a journey to Makkah, in Saudi Arabia, at least once in one's lifetime. This pillar is obligatory for every Muslim, male or female, provided that he/she is physically and financially able to do so,
“As per the Holy Qur’an, performance of the Haj is obligatory and is the fifth pillar of Islam and the most significant manifestation of Islamic faith and unity. Undertaking the Haj at least once in a lifetime is mandatory for Muslims who are physically able and have the financial means to make the journey to Makkah”
A PTOs Welfare Committee formed by dedicate few people, worked hard for welfare and wellbeing of PTOs, which is acknowledged by many of the PTOs irrespective of affiliation to any Associations/Organisation, decided to give this committee a more viable platform, and as suggested and supported by so many PTOs across all India, finally came in form of FEDERATION HAJ PTOs OF INDIA.
With love and affection, our PTOs welfare committee is popularly known as welfarewale. It’s all our well-wisher’s warm affection which greatly encouraged us to form a Federation.
